COVID-19 Risk Assessment

Player and Spectator Areas Everyone High – Medium Players will have designated areas to store clearly labelled drinks bottle.   Spectators will have a designated viewing area, 2 metres social distancing to be observed. Hand sanitiser will be provided.   Cleaning of area and equipment to be completed before and after each football half.   Players to supply their own labelled hand sanitizer. Coaches Equipment Everyone High – Medium No bibs to be used during this warmup.   All balls to be cleaned before/after the session.   All cones to be cleaned before/after the session.   Goals to be wiped down before/after the session. Coaches Medium – Low
Players/Refferee Everyone High – Medium All players to bring/use their own hand sanitizer before/after each session. Players to bring their own personal equipment   Players not to handle the ball, unless wearing gloves.   Recommended that all players/coaches wear gloves.   Wear appropriate footwear   Wear Shin pads   All players to bring drink from their own labelled water bottle and place in the designated area whilst observing social distancing.   Players do not touch the goalposts, nets, pitch barriers or corner flags with their hands unless wearing gloves.   Players not to touch cones with their hands unless wearing gloves. If not wearing gloves, players to use their hand sanitizer at every break.   Social distancing – Stay 2 metres away from anyone.   If a player has any symptoms or is feeling unwell, they are to refrain from attending any sessions as per government advice. First – Aid Everyone High – Medium Coaches to hold up to date FA First Aid qualification (IFAiF)   First-Aid consent to be recorded on track and trace register.   First-Aid Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) to be supplied and used when dealing with a first-aid incident.   In the event of First-Aid – the session will be stopped, players sent for a break in the designated area and the player’s parent who is injured asked to attend and assist with first-aid away from any other individual.   If a player has any symptoms or is feeling unwell, they are to refrain from attending any sessions as per government advice.   Coaches Parent Medium – Low
Facilities Everyone High – Medium No entry/use of the clubhouse at any time.   Only designated toilets to be used and 1 person at a time.   Toilets to be checked/cleaned before and after the session with anti-bacterial spray.   Coaches Players Low

First aid to be recorded on the register.   Copy of FA Affiliation, Liability Insurance, Safeguarding Policy and Risk Assessment available for all to view.   Signage displayed in regard to cleaning hands.   Players will be escorted to and from the training areas by the coaches in a safe manner and at 2m apart.   All players to use their own labelled hand sanitizer and wear gloves if possible. Breaks Players and Coaches Medium – Low Players are to be escorted to the designated player area by the coach to their designated cone in the – no wondering.   Groups no bigger than 5 to use their designated players area. Coaches Players Low
Leaving Players and Coaches Medium – Low Players will leave in orderly manner and this will be done by the group nearest to the site exit first to avoid overcrowding.   All players to use their own labelled hand sanitizer before they leave.   Coaches Players Spectators Low
Post Session Coaches Medium – Low All balls to be cleaned with anti-bacterial spray and left onsite.   All Cones to be cleaned with anti–bacterial spray and left onsite.   Any other equipment used to be cleaned with anti-bacterial spray. Coaches Low
Pitch Area Coaches Medium – Low Check all areas of use during session for litter, potholes and animal faeces and clean accordingly. Coaches Low
